Electric Objects

Electric Objects

As co-founder and founding curator at Electric Objects, I cultivated relationships with hundreds of artists and commissioned over a thousand works of art.

Emoji Art & Design Show

Emoji Art & Design Show

The Emoji Art & Design Show was the first exhibition and pop-up market dedicated to the beloved images.

As co-curator of The Emoji Art & Design Show, I researched and selected all artworks featured in the exhibition. I was also the official spokeswoman.

gURLs

After complaining to some friends over brunch about another year of male-centric art shows in New York City, I decided to do something about it.

gURLs was an evening of performances and readings exclusively for women and the female-identified. The event featured multimedia performances by emerging and significant artists and poets whose practices are preoccupied with female identity, the occult, and technology.

The Download

The Download

What does an online art exhibition look like, you ask?

The Download (2011-2013) shared a new artwork every month for free download via Rhizome.org. Part curatorial platform, part incentive to budding digital art collectors, the Download highlights new works and encourages display at home-on any screen, computer, or suitable device.

UPDATE: The Download has been reincarnated by curator Paul Soulellis

Ann Hirsch's Playground

Ann Hirsch's Playground

This Rhizome commission was near and dear to my heart. I assisted the artist with every aspect of its production at the New Museum.

Ann Hirsch’s Playground is a two-person performance loosely based on the cyber-sexual escapades of the artist’s adolescent self.
